Ed Morrissey advises, “Obama has a radical record on abortion and life issues that is far to the left of the mainstream in America. He also has a record of supporting far-reaching gun control laws. These issues provide McCain the quickest, most effective way to expose Obama as a hard-Left ideologue out of step with the American people.”
Ed Morrissey criticizes the debate for not addressing abortion, gun control and judicial selection, griping, “Brokaw made the decision on questions, and he has to take responsibility for his choices. Ed Morrissey notes, “You’ll want to double-check the logo at the bottom left corner during this report. It really is CNN and Anderson Cooper fact-checking Barack Obama’s claims to have barely known William Ayers.”

Allahpundit posts video of Bill Clinton saying that McCain is acting in “good faith” by requesting to suspend the debate.
